Apparently disney has majority ownership over it now So they decided to implement a seamless login experience across their services, like disney+ and hulu, but without telling any customers of disney+, hulu, or the rest of the internet. Separately, late last year we received a letter in the mail also saying that disney plus was to be included with our tv service (after all that drama about losing the disney channels last year) The instructions mentioned to login to disney plus with your spectrum info and it would work fine.
